Aaftab is a petty smuggler living life perpetually on the edge. He loves Ruksana, whose family is against him because he is illegitimate. Dhananjay is a city dweller and has a fiancee Ragini. They are both immersed in their individual lives, unknown to each other's existence and to the fact that they are stepbrothers. When they meet and get to know of the reality, it causes them to hate each other passionately. Aftab is then forced to entrap Dhananjay by a group of criminals. However, both find themselves on the same side--the wrong side of the law. The film has a lot of comical moments between the two heroes.
